Collision diverts southbound traffic on U.S. 27

Fresh blacktop scattered across U.S. 27 pavement Tuesday morning as a dump truck traveling southbound failed to stop at a red light crossing U.S. 150 and collided with oncoming traffic, police said. The four drivers involved in the collision were shaken up, but no one was injured.
